Avoid applying adhesive over ribbon cables or delicate surfaces like NFC or wireless charging coils. Avoid applying adhesive too close to sensitive components. The stretch release adhesive strips will be applied to the rear of the replacement battery, and may need to be cut to length.
Warm the top case with a hair dryer. Careful not to melt the keys. Then squirt acetone between the battery pack and the housing and use a playing card to slice through the adhesive. Repeat for every battery pack.
